| I was laying in my bed, sleeping for 6 hours and then I felt this really bright light hitting my eyes, and I realized it was the sun. I hate it when that happens. The sun is really overpowering sometimes.
Annnnyyyyways. Yesterday, I cleaned my room forever. Or so it seemed. I just have a really hard time cleaning and focusing on it when it's something I'm being forced to do. I think it's like that with everything really though. Anything you are forced to do takes ten times longer than it should. So Hilary stopped by around 2 and played Crash until about 4 because she's as addicted as I am. haha ::check point:: Then we just sat around and talked til about 5 when she left cause she was having dinner at 'five after five'. I finally finished my room at around 6, and then I went to Jordan's.
I love Jordan's house. Her backyard is like perfect. Seriously like just the right size, with a sweet pool and back patio. So I got there around 6:30, and Grace, Nick (Dicky..), & Geoff were already there. We all just sat around and talked but it was hilarious. They are all super cool kids, and I enjoyed hanging out with all of them. Jordan brought out orajel and they were all using it and spitting everywhere. I ate pudding. My mouth hurts still. I don't think thats good. I left her house around 8:45 and went to the Zahm's. Meg was already there, and we ate kettle korn, sat in this really comfy chair and watched boy meets world. Seriously, total girls night. It ruled.
I got home around 11:30 and hopped online. Talked to some people and went to bed by 2 which is a record for me these days. I was planning on 8 hours of sleep but I fought the sun and the sun won the battle I guess. Cause here I am, awake in the wee hours of the morning, typing on my laptop.
I hope it's what I think it is..
| so today was another one of those boring yet eventful days.
woke up at 1:30, to my mom coming in my room. She decided that she didn't want to go to Kohl's and my bro's hockey practice alone, so I tagged a long. But first I had to hook Brent up with some information. Real weird stuff, I'm not going to lie.. but whatever, I'm curious to see how it turns out.
So I went to those two things. Got my purse that my mom picked out.. lol, same as laura's and then to my bro's hockey practice. I was starving.. and when we came home I ate chicken noodle soup, a mushed banana and a popsicle- stripped from the stick and chopped up. As far as these teeth go, they're doing awesome. Today's the worst pain wise, but that just means its almost over. I can't wait because I am having pancakes tomorrow morning.
Super emotional night though. Every possible stress that exists in the world hit me for some reason. But I got through it all because God rules for blessing me with the people that I know that talk me through everything, and for those that I just met that say awesome things to help even more. I seriously could not be happier with the way things are going in my life. With the one little exception of that one class, but I know that somehow it will work out for the best because of Romans 8:28. (thanks again Andrew)
And again to say the very least, I feel that for as scared as I was about high school ending, it brought about an awesome change to my life. I feel much closer to my family, and I feel like the distance that has grown between me and many of my high school friends was meant to be, because I got a lot, lot, lot closer to a few of the ones who I wasn't as close too, and it has been one phenomonal summer just hanging out with them. I have never felt so secure about who I am, and who I can turn to. I feel that through my family and through the group of close friends that I have and God that I can work through anything. It's such a great feeling to think that also. I hope that change continues to happen at the pace it has been, because for once I am actually agreeing with it.
ps; crash bandicoot is taking over my life.
| Today is a pretty sad day.
Matty was just at my house 2 hours ago. Along with Steph, Andy, Zulu, Leah, Sarrah, Jenna, Hilary and I for a Mushy Goodbye Party. And now, in exactly 4 hours and 15 minutes he will be in his car on the way to Florida. Sad? Yes. It really sucks to have to see someone leave for a long time, especially when they say "I'll see you at Thanksgiving." Haha pathetic that we (Jenna, Hil, and I) are planning for a 'welcome home' party.
Overall though it was a fun night to say the least. American History X is a great film. Teaches me more and more everytime I watch it. Definitely makes me appreciate unity a bunch more too, and the fact that I am extremely tolerable of others differences.
oh and Wendy's Frosties own.. especially when Liz and Molli Zahm bring them to you as a get well soon gift.
one of my stiches just fell out and I swallowed it, so now I am drinking chocolate milk.
goodnight Kid. | | |
| yep.. so the 4 big teeth are out.. wisdom teeth that is. I'll have to agree with Andrew and say that the medicines make you feel real trippy. Literally. The anesthetics made me throw up, and when I was running to the bathroom I slipped/ tripped or something, and my elbow went through the wall and put a big hole in it. My mom was all worried and started crying cause she thought I was hurt and I was laughing hysterically. I was talking to Sam online when it happened. He saw the pic. haha
Anyways, so Jell-o, pudding, and ice cream get old real fast when it's all you can eat. So does constant blood in your mouth when you can taste it. But other than that, the pain is minimal and it's not really bothering me at all too much. I went for 6 straight hours pain med free yesterday and I'm pretty proud of that.
Hilary stopped over and sat with me for a long time. Thank God for her seriously. Definitely one of the greatest friends I have ever had. She stayed here for like 6 hours and we watched Miss Congeniality 2, a few SpongeBob episodes (sorry Sam), and part of Finding Neverland until my family got home from the fair.
Yep, so thats the rundown. Hilary took me to the duck park and vidler's the other day, before my surgery. Definitely a good escape. Later that night, J Hall, Ian, Max, Ashlee, Leah, Zulu, Sarrah and I hit up the east playground at like 10. It's the new place to be. Then we left and went to Ian's. Fun times. I seriously love my close group of friends and I am so thankful for them.
I miss these kids:

(plus Andrew & Juan)
and these ones:

but due to these holes in my face, I couldn't go to the reunion so I was kind of upset. But thanks to Hilary, Ian and Sam for listening to me when I was all messed up and for keeping me occupied for the entire day. You rule times 35629582663542194087.

So yep.. last was pretty cool. Actually really cool. I slept in until around ten o'clock-ish, and when I woke up Leah and I decided it was pointless to head down to Buff State so we stayed home. I layed around, decided to go with my mom shopping and I ended up buying this laptop that I am writing this on.
Anyways, cable was down all day, which meant no internet. Which ultimately could have meant no Rochester road trip, but luckily at 2:52 cable miraculously turned back on and I recovered my IM with Kurtis' address and got directions. Also to our advantage, J Hall got out of work early and was able to go. It was a real fun ride there. We got to talk a lot and joke around. A really scenic route actually. We passed the Lollypop Farm and we somehow traveled through Egypt, oh and who knew that there was a 31, aside from the 31F West and the 31 F East in Fairport. Psh! So we finally get to Kurtis' house and we stood outside while Steph applied her deodorant and J Hall got cleaned off with Steph's handy lint brush, haha. Kurtis' eventually came out and invited us in & we met his friends and ate some really good pizza. Personally, I got drooled on all over by his dog. The cats that live with him have really saggy stomachs. I don't know why I am writing about that. After about a half hour of sitting around, and watching Kurtis' run around looking for his straightener, his sister finally came home, and was a half hour late apparently. So we finally left for the show and got lost on the way there. Minor scare, we almost ran out of gas, but it was fun. The Penny Arcade was a small little venue, perfect for local shows and a handful of bigger shows, but probably not too good for anything huge. Selbourne (Kurtis' Band) was first. I really like them a lot. They just have a lot of fun on stage, and they are really entertaining to watch and hear. The next band was good. I didn't really listen much, I'm not going to lie, but I probably would have liked them. The last band was friggen crazy. Thrashing got out of control. I got kicked in the back of the legs and once in the back on purpose. I saw the kid hit me. Same thing happened with this one other kid that we went to the show with, except he turned around a punched the kid in the face and got kicked out for it. The kid that kicked him was ultra mean though. 100% out of controlness. Like physical violence, I am going to beat the crap of you cause I don't like the way you are doing things kinda situations. Crazy stuff. Then on the way home, we stopped at a gas station, and ending up meeting up with them all again. We sat there waiting for Steph to pay for her gas, and some guy was flipping out, so when he left he almost hit Steph's car, so J Hall told him to calm down and the guy got out of his car and was freaking on us. Meredith (Kurtis' one friend) got out of the car and rescued us. haha I slept a lot on the way home, and now I'm here typing this. We are already planning a trip back on the 29th. Gooood times.
so I was driving by St. Catherine's yesterday, and I saw on the greeting sign "Trust In God, He will Provide.." I just really like that because of how true it is so I wanted to share. Also, how much I miss everyone from KB and I mean everyone. The ones who live right down the street from me, the ones on core, or the ones from Stand True/ One Truth. Truly genuine people that no one else can ever be like. Hope you kids are doing well. <3 <3 <3
So then tonight was cool too.. I ended up getting my G Router for my Laptop that I just bought and got that hooked up so I have internet through my whole house. That will help out a lot over the next few days after I get my wisdom teeth out on friday. Anyways.. I was testing my internet and Ian IMed me so I picked him up and we went to Kristina's for her grad party. Zulu & Max came a little later and then Don and them were already there. We just joked around and Ian of course ate all of the fruit. Then we ate dinner and Kristina's weird neighbor came back while everyone was playing horseshoes and had his hand down the back of his pants.. wow. Mind you he is like 55 years old. Arden & I ate some really good cheesecake. Then Betsy and Caroline came. So we hung out. Ashlee came, and we all just sat around and talked. Ate some more food, and then got into a silly string war. I kept myself safe. Then the water balloons came out. We all nailed Ian and then eventually they cornered me and got me. haha Then we left and they decided they wanted to swim so we went to Ian's. I nearly killed Max.. let's not get into that. Zulu, Max, and Ian played vampires in the pool. And we played a really good joke on Ian's younger sister Chelsea saying that the cops were chasing them. We also plan on making some kind of movie next week. It's gonna be a fun time.
Liz Zahm is definitely one of the coolest kids I have ever met. She's so nice and genuine and innocent that if more people were like her it would be so much easier on everyone. I definitely idolize her for that, and it's weird cause she's younger then me, but I <3 her.
all of my friends rule.. I seriously love all of you. <3 <3 <3 <3 lovelovelovelove.
